Project 1 CROW
The first series I created was Crow, which has currently three complete stages In Crow1:Witch, my mother can be seen as a model wearing rough jewelry made from styrofoam and photographed with a sense of fashion. At this stage, the external decorations and the model (my mother) play together the particular role of the crow. In Crow 2, the white plumage of a crow and What does it matter whether feathers are black or white? These two pieces are jewelry and photographs made from cheap man-made materials such as Styrofoam, nylon rope and electrical tape. On the surface I seem to be questioning "Does it really matter whether the feathers of a crow are black or white?" But what I'm actually trying to discuss is whether crows should struggle with the color of their feathers. Do we as individuals really know who we are? In Crow3: If the Crow means death, what's the meaning of a dead crow? I use the phrase paradox as the title of an installation. The installation consists of the title of the work written in Chinese and the skull of a crow made of brass.
